A few people have asked how to remove the "blackhole sun" or black sun spot from BMCC footage in Resolve so this is how i've been treating the problem in Resolve 10 (admittedly i've gotten to enjoy this feature for a while since i got to beta test Resolve 10 before the public beta was released). This video is in realtime and doesn't explain any steps i'm taking, but for anyone familiar with resolve it should be self-explanatory.
The pocket camera has already had a firmware fix for this issue and hopefully the BMCC gets the same thing too, but for those with the problem now and not sure how to solve it, this is one method that may help.
Hopefully it gives some people ideas about other "cloning" possibilities in Resolve 10 too. :-)
