My girlfriend and I spent three weeks on a road trip through Sweden in July 2015.
Skåne - Småland - Öland - Stockholm - Dalarna - Bohuslän.
This is a short summary.
Camera: Sony A7s @ S-LOG2.
Stabilization: Nebula 4000 & Cullmann Magnesit 522 tripod with Manfrotto 500AH fluid head.
Lenses: Canon FD 35mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 300mm 4.0, Sony FE 28-70mm 3.5-5.6 OSS.
Meikon A7 underwater housing.
Software: Adobe Premiere CC, After Effects CC.

This LUT has been in development for quite some time, It's designed for PP off and Cine 4 profiles. This is my go-to day to day LUT which makes skintones look beautiful.
It doesn't have too much of a distinct style, it just fixes sonys rather ugly colour.
This LUT has a built in highlight saturation reduction curve, (the reason for this is to emulate celluloid)

HAPPY MONDAY MOFOS!!!! As promised, here is a new music video for ANTHEM, the first single off of my latest release, Robot Heart. Every sound you hear on ANTHEM was created solely with my vocals - hence Paul's idea behind the video:)
I realized after we finished recording the EP that all of the songs were about a Robot stealing peoples hearts and about questioning the worth of the human race as a whole. It was fucking depressing...which doesn't usually bother me, but this time, I was thirsty for something positive. And thus came the idea of ANTHEM - as a reminder that yeah, we can be assholes at times – but as a race, we are in charge of our own lives – and ultimately we can make a difference in the lives of others through generosity and compassion.
I believe in you – you are the answer, you are the truth – so whatcha gonna do?

Sony A7S II 100fps Test
Location New Zealand, Karekare Beach. Žiga Zupančič did a quick test over the weekend of the 100fps option on our new Sony A7SII. He was mostly interested in the fact that the camera does a 2x2 sensor crop while shooting in this mode and how well the inner stabilisation of the camera works. Everything was shot handheld in Slog2 - 2 stops over with the 24mm T1.5 Samyang Lens. Have a look.

One week in China with my dear friend Leonardo Dalessandri and with a lot of other new friends from China, Italy, Turkey and Netherlands.
I took advantage of the occasion to film in Shanghai and Zhouzhuang.
Shanghai is a megacity but, in a sense, it's like a small village.
China is like a big, small fascinating world.

Ettore's Wunderkammer
Ettore's house is a delicate and perfect world made of shapes.
I can't see this place as a classical, real museum.
In general, artists, with their works, show us windows to their souls.
But here there is more: it's a journey inside an alive and pulsing brain; a body in perfect homeostasis.
Here there are doors, leading you on a "neurological" path made of brilliant and serial synapses that create beauty.
La casa di Ettore è un delicato e perfetto equilibrio di forme.
Non riesco a vedere questo luogo come un vero e proprio museo, nel senso più classico del termine.
In generale l'artista, con le proprie opere, ci regala delle finestre che si affacciano sulla propria anima.
Ma in questo luogo c'è di più: è il viaggio all'interno di un cervello vivo e pulsante, un corpo in perfetta omeostasi.
Qui ci sono porte, portoni, che ti conducono in un percorso "neurologico" fatto di geniali e seriali sinapsi che si fanno meraviglia.
